Meet Our Team
Dr. Train Marshall
Born in Toronto, Dr. Train obtained his degree in dentistry from the University of Toronto in 1986 and set up his first practice in Bloor Street Village the following year. He moved to Etobicoke’s Royal York Plaza in 1992, where he has been based ever since.
An active member of the Ontario Dental Association, Dr. Train is a committed fundraiser for both the Heart and Stroke foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and a volunteer convener for the Avenue Road Hockey Association Bantam Division.
But possibly his greatest achievement is being married for 27 years to the lovely Tova! Their four children range in age from 14 to 23 years old. In his spare time, Dr. Train enjoys reading a good mystery and all things archaeology.
A dental hygienist since 1993, Farah has been part of the Train Dental team since 2003. An undergrad at University of Toronto, she obtained her Dental Hygiene degree in Michigan, USA.
Farah is passionate about creating lasting relationships with our patients based on their personal needs and goals.
Fluent in French and Urdu, she enjoys sharing her knowledge with our patients and is continually learning about new and innovative ways to maintain oral health.
In her free time, she volunteers for the Sick Kids Telethon and the National Women’s Show. She loves reading and travelling to exotic places.
The newest member of the Train Dental team, Mona brings with her 24 years’ experience in the field of dentistry. A certified Dental Assistant, she also obtained her Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Hudson College in 2008.
Mona’s top priority as a hygienist is to provide our patients with the best oral attention and care.
In her free time, she likes to walk her Pom-Chi dog with her daughter and three sons. Passionate about travelling to new places, she enjoys shopping, reading, and whipping up new recipes.
Sonia initially joined the Train Dental team in 1995 as a dental assistant before graduating with Honours from Confederation College as a Certified Dental Hygienist.
To her delight, Sonia’s daughter has followed in her footsteps and is currently studying to become a dental hygienist.
A native of Jamaica, Sonia is a dedicated volunteer and a proud recipient of community service awards from both West Park Long Term Care Facility and Etobicoke Centre MPP Ted Opitz.
Outside the office, she enjoys baking sweet treats and taking nature walks.
In 1994, Caron graduated with Honours from the Toronto School of Business as a Certified Dental Assistant. Part of the Train Dental team since 1998, she thrives on getting to know our patients and making them feel completely at ease from the moment they walk through the door. That warm and welcoming atmosphere in our office is one that Caron helps to foster.
Outside the office, she adores spending quality time with her grandson, and the rest of her family and friends. A fantastic cook, she prides herself on leading a healthy lifestyle.
Dental Assistant / Admin
Born and raised in Etobicoke, Sandy has been part of the Train Dental Team since 2001. Not only is she fluent in Portuguese, Sandy has a lair for organizing which serves her well as a dental assistant and front desk receptionist.
A certified Spin Instructor, Sandy is an active soccer mom who likes keeping fit and hanging out with her three lovely daughters.
Having received her Dental Hygiene Diploma from George Brown College, Mary has been working for Dr. Train for more than 15 years!
Registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario, she is also an active member of both the Canadian and Ontario Dental Hygienists’ Associations. Fluent in both English and Greek, Mary is certified in CPR/First Aid, and frequently looks for opportunities to further her professional development.
Mary strives to make every visit as informative, comfortable and pleasant as possible. She knows how important it is to establish trust and aims to provide treatment based on our patients’ individual clinical needs.
In her spare time, Mary leads an active, healthy lifestyle. She enjoys reading, spending time with her husband, twin kids, rabbits, and friends.
Born in Toronto, Rochelle graduated from the Birmingham Dental Hospital in England and joined the Train Dental team in 1993. Registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario, she is also an active member of both the Canadian and Ontario Dental Hygienists’ Associations.
Certified in Dental Radiology, Red Cross First Aid and CPR, Rochelle is constantly learning and likes to keep up with the latest in dental hygiene through a variety of training courses.
When she is not working, Rochelle enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and experimenting in the kitchen.
